'Choice'
Editorial illustration for Vis/Res Vol.03.
To what extent do our choices define who we are? And how much do the choices of others affect us? Is life laid down on rails, so that we cannot alter our paths, despite the illusion of making choices?
Pushing further into the realms of philosophy and even astrophysics, many are beginning to believe in a 'multiverse' – millions or billions of universes just like our own, all co-existing, but all different. If we do have free will and we can make our own choices, do we exist in more than one universe, each one defined by the options we choose?
This illustration was created with the notion that everything happens for a reason, reasons beyond our control, in an alternate universe where anything is possible.
